The NSDC Staff and Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University sign Memorandum of Cooperation

The Staff of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine and Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on Wednesday, 19 April, 2016.

According to the document, which was signed by Head of the NSDC Staff Andriy Ziuz and Rector of the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University Anatolii Hetman, the Parties plan to cooperate, in particular, in the development of projects, regulations and documents on national security and defence for the needs of the NSDC of Ukraine.

In addition, it is planned to continue the practice of training students of this university in order to acquire and improve the professional knowledge, skills and abilities of civil servants of the NSDC of Ukraine.

"The involvement of academic staff and students in the state-building processes in the country is an important trend today. After all, they are the generators and developers of new ideas and the implementation of modern political and legal projects, in particular on national security and defence," Andriy Ziuz said.

In this context, he praised the level of professional training of the university students who are currently undergoing internships at the NSDC of Ukraine.
