Oleksiy Danilov: The higher military-political leadership of the state has several options for a counteroffensive

During the meetings of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, more than one option for conducting a counteroffensive of the Armed Forces is considered. This was announced by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov, on the air of the talk show "Great Lviv Speaks" on Thursday, April 6.

"The counteroffensive of the Armed Forces depends on many factors, therefore the higher military and political leadership of the state has several options for the development of events. We analyze not only the state of our army, but also the situation of the enemy," Oleksiy Danilov said.

At the same time, the NSDC Secretary criticized loud statements about the counteroffensive from people not involved in these processes.

"Only a limited circle of people in the state - up to five - knows about the counteroffensive plans - terms, time, place," he noted.

Answering the question of whether a sufficient number of Western weapons have been placed on the territory of Ukraine to successfully oppose the russians, Oleksiy Danilov emphasized that "the Armed Forces want to have as many weapons as possible in order to destroy as many terrorists as possible."

At the same time, Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine emphasized the treachery of the enemy, who "is also preparing and nervous about the international military assistance provided to us."

"Ukraine's partners understand that we protect not only ourselves, democracy, but also the borders of Europe. Our joint task is to remove the Russian abomination," Oleksiy Danilov summed up.
