The development of domestic weapons is a priority of the state policy of Ukraine. Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov stressed this on-air at the national telethon on the "1+1" TV channel on Tuesday, December 13, this year.

The NSDC Secretary noticed that the issue of developing weapons and military equipment by Ukroboronprom was on the agenda during the country's preparations for war.

According to him, the implementation of the approved missile program is under the control of the President of Ukraine.

"Today, the production of 152 mm and 122 mm projectiles has been launched at our enterprises. The production of mines and other types of weapons is now being established. We are talking about thousands of units", - Mr. Danilov said.

At the same time, he assured: domestic weapons will cause great trouble to the occupiers.
