Oleg Hladkovskiy took part in the International Paris Air Show Le Bourget-2017

First Deputy to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleg Hladkovskiy participated in the International Paris Air Show Le Bourget-2017 as part of his working visit to France.

The Ukrainian delegation at the exhibition was headed by Minister of Defense of Ukraine Army General Stepan Poltorak.

Within the framework of the Paris Air Show, a meeting with Minister of Defense of the French Republic Sylvie Goulard was held, during which the parties discussed the possibility of expanding defense cooperation between Ukraine and France; a meeting with Minister of National Defense of the Turkish Republic Fikri Ishik was also held.

Moreover, an international presentation of the AN-132D aircraft manufactured by the "Antonov" State Enterprise in cooperation with the world's aviation companies was conducted during the exhibition.

The aircraft made a demonstration flight before official delegations from all over the world.

"This is the first world premiere of AN-132D for a demanding international audience. I am confident that in the nearest future, together with our international partners, we will have every chance to take a niche in aircraft engineering of this class. We once again proved that we hold positions among the world's aircraft building countries and do not rest on our oars. Moreover, the fact that AN-132D does not contain a single detail of Russian production deserves special attention, and you must admit that this is a strong example of successful import substitution for the aviation industry and proof that everything is possible under effective management", - Oleg Hladkovskiy noticed.

AN-132D was put together in record time - the program was launched in May 2015, and on March 31, 2017, the aircraft made its first flight.

AN-132D is designed for flights on short and medium-range routes; its cruising air speed reaches up to 500 km/h, and maximum cruising altitude is up to 9000 m with a maximum payload of up to 9,2 tons.
