Oleksandr Turchynov: Ukraine has no plans to carry out missile tests in the Kerch Strait

Ukraine has no plans to carry out missile tests in the Kerch Strait. In such a way Secretary of National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov commented on the statement by the Federal Agency for Air Transport of the Russian Federation concerning the alleged "violations by the Ukrainian party of the Russian airspace during the missile weapon tests".

"Russia's hysteria that Ukraine, in violation of all the international agreements, unilaterally decided to implement the missile tests in "the sovereign airspace of the Russian Federation" is devoid of common sense", - he said.

According to Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine, in compliance with all the international agreements, the sovereign airspace of the Russian Federation in the Black Sea ends in the middle of the Kerch Strait. "Ukraine has no plans to carry out missile tests in this area. The rest of the territory to the west of the Kerch Strait is the sovereign airspace of Ukraine ", - Mr. Turchynov noticed adding that Ukraine carries out missile tests within all the international obligations and agreements. "Therefore, we ask the Russian Federation not to interfere our tests with its hysterics and provocations", - Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine summarized.
