The NSDC of Ukraine considered the issue of additional financing of the security and defense sector within the current year's budget

The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine at its meeting on Wednesday supported the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2016" in order to increase financing of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Chief Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the National Police of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and other power structures.

In particular, it is foreseen that financing of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine will be increased by 3 billion 800 million UAH, of the Chief Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine - by 175 million UAH, of the National Police of Ukraine - by 2 billion 4 million 800 thousand UAH, of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and other power structures - by 782 million 700 thousand UAH, of the Security Service of Ukraine - by 128 million 500 thousand UAH, of the Administration of State Guard of Ukraine - by 51 million UAH.
