A meeting of NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov and Ambassador of France to Ukraine Isabelle Dumont took place

A meeting of Secretary of National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov and Ambassador of France to Ukraine Isabelle Dumont took place.

During the meeting the interlocutors discussed the current situation which has developed in Ukraine.

According to Oleksandr Turchynov, despite the fact that Ukraine complies with all obligations undertaken by the results of the Minsk agreement, "the same cannot be said about Russia".

"Attempts of provocative shellings of our positions indicate that they intend to disrupt the peace plan regarding withdrawal of weapons", - NSDC Secretary said.

Isabelle Dumont stressed that France has always been a reliable friend of Ukraine "and we will continue to comprehensively assist your country on the path of democratic changes".
