Oleksandr Turchynov: There is only one way to avoid artificial incidents – to accelerate the transition of true patriots to the ranks of our army

There is only one way to avoid artificial incidents - to accelerate the transition of true patriots to the ranks of our army. This was stated by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov in his comment.

According to him, risks of disruption of the Minsk Agreements by the Russian Federation and a renewal of active hostilities by Russian-terrorist groups after the May holidays remain high enough.

«In these circumstances we must do all we can to strengthen our defense and to enhance the Ukrainian Army's combat potential», - said Oleksandr Turchynov, adding that a year ago, and now, the volunteers were the main driving force in the defense system of our country.

«A year ago they took the brunt of the enemy's attack, making it possible to revive our army, destroyed by traitors, and today they protect the country's eastern borders in the Armed Forces and the National Guard», - he said.

According to the NSDC Secretary, to overpower the enemy we need a united, solid, professionally trained, well-armed and controlled from a single center army. «That's why all patriots, particularly from the Right Sector, who are ready to defend Ukraine in arms, decided to join our Armed Forces and the National Guard», - he said, explaining that the best effective goes to reconnaissance element and to air-assault battalions.

«There is only one way to avoid artificial incidents - to accelerate the transition to the ranks of our army of true patriots, ready to defend the country not in the Internet or on rallies but at the front», - said Oleksandr Turchynov, noting that there are no alternatives to this process and that military authorities together with leaders of patriotic movements should fully promote this, «removing any bureaucratic restrictions and delays on the way».
