Greetings of Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov on the occasion of the Day of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine

Dear intelligence officers and veterans! I sincerely congratulate you on the professional holiday!

This year, Ukrainian intelligence agents will celebrate their centenary anniversary at the state level for the first time. A hundred years ago, in the turbulent times of the national liberation struggle in the Ukrainian People's Republic, the first unit of nationwide intelligence service was established as an important and vital institution of an independent state.

Today, when our state and the Ukrainian nation are hardened in conditions of severe trials and losses, intelligence officers in Ukraine show high professionalism, dedication and patriotism, valorously performing dangerous tasks, revealing the aggressor's plans and intentions.

Courage and invincible spirit of the intelligence agents, loyalty and love to the Homeland, reliability and dedication to the cause are not some ordinary slogans for you, but everyday work, full of deep meaning. These personal and professional qualities are a reliable guarantee of Ukraine's consolidation, the liberation of the occupied territories and our victory!

I am convinced that you will further bear the honorable rank of an intelligence officer, multiplying the best traditions of Ukrainian special services!

I sincerely congratulate you on the professional holiday! May God bless you, your families and our Ukraine!

Glory to Ukraine!
