Successful tests of strike
unmanned aerial vehicle took place today. This was stated by Secretary of the
National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov at
Honcharivske proving ground in Chernihiv region after the tests were completed.
According to him, one of the
tasks set by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine before the
domestic defense-industrial complex was "to establish production of
high-quality combat unmanned aerial vehicles".

reconnaissance and three striking combat vehicles, so it can find and precisely
hit targets using the high-explosive, blast-fragmentation, and thermobaric
munitions, which depends on the task", - Mr. Turchynov pointed out adding that
today's tests were carried out in tough weather conditions: "The gusts of wind
reached up to 14-17 meters per second". "Despite these problems, virtually all
the tasks set were fulfilled, the targets were hit", - he noticed.
Secretary of the NSDC of
Ukraine reported that this UAV was "a product of fruitful cooperation of the
Ukrainian company "Chezara" with Polish partners".
"The tests were successful,
they demonstrated the effectiveness of these unmanned systems. The next step is
to add them to an armory and use effectively in combat conditions", - he said.
a meeting with producers and military servicemen, the NSDC Secretary announced
that soon new models of strike UAVs "with much longer range and more powerful
combat characteristics" will be presented.
